Delete my account and my data
You can ask us to delete your account and everything we have about you, whether or not you have the app installed. Right here.
What is deleted
If you never created an account, there is nothing to delete — the account is created inside the app, when you finish your first habit or open the subscription screen, or when you enter parent mode; if it was not created, what is yours is on your phone and uninstalling the app deletes it. Asking us for a deletion from this page does leave something on our server: the privacy notice says what we keep and how long it lasts, in “How long we keep each thing”.
When there is an account, your profile, your measurements, your estimates, your habits and your weekly AI analyses are deleted. If you have parent mode, your children's profiles are deleted too.
When we receive the request we close all your sessions and an automatic process removes every row of yours within the following hour. Backups are renewed every 30 days, so within that period it also disappears from them. It cannot be undone.
What is not deleted, and why
- One receipt for each deleted account. It keeps that account's identifier, the dates and a cryptographic summary, and nothing else. It is the proof that the deletion happened, and it is the only thing of each account that survives.
- Your subscription. We cannot cancel it ourselves: it is cancelled in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it before deleting the account, or you will keep being charged.
What happens next
Each form below sends your request to our server, which then takes you to the next step: the page where you enter your code, or the one that confirms we received your request. Those pages are in Spanish, and so is the page the email with your code sends you to.
If you sign in with your email
This is the case for parent mode. Write the address you sign in to FinalStat with, we send you a one-time code, and the deletion starts when you enter it. The code expires in 30 minutes.
If you already asked for a code for that address, asking for another cancels it: only the most recent one works, and the attempts you have already used keep counting with the new one. If you have an unused one, enter it on the code page instead of asking for another.
If you use FinalStat without an email
The teen path has no email or password, so the account is identified by a short code the app shows you. Open it, go to “Me” and look below the version number: it says “Account:” followed by twelve characters in three groups of four. Tap it to copy it.
If no “Account:” line appears there, there is no account to delete: one was never created on our server and what is yours is on that phone.
More information
In the app it is in “Me” → “Delete my account”. This form deletes the same.
The privacy notice explains what data we have, where and for how long. If something here does not work, write to us at hola@finalstat.app.
